Epic Mare de Deu del Mont

Follow me as I climb up the Epic and I mean Epic Mare de Deu del Mont. This in my opinion is the jewel in the crown in the Girona cycling region. Such a beautiful climb to cycle and sooo quiet. I seen 3 cars and 2 other cyclists all day. This is more than just cycling though. Listen to me ramble on about everything from mans love for God to toothache. This video is for me and my kids. If people like it then great if they don’t that’s cool to. I just want to make cycling videos as this is when I’m at my happiest and when I think I’m some sort of Nietzsche on 2 wheels. I’m fascinated by mans love for God. Man can build the most beautiful temples to their Gods. At times I just wish man could be as beautiful to man. Wouldn’t that be nice? I cycled this climb on my own. I love cycling on my own. It gives me such a feeling of stillness. It allows me to take in the views silently and be grateful for everything life has to offer. We’re so lucky some of us on this planet to be afforded the health and money to do things like this. Billions of people will never have this opportunity so if you get it take it and try and enjoy each and every pedal stroke. If you’re a roadie….. Try smiling and say hi! So many people just grunt by you. Chill, enjoy the view and be super nice to everyone you meet. This video is made with no production in mind. Couldn’t care less about production.
