The department has a designated compartment allowing them to store their air packs outside of the cab to lessen their exposure to carcinogens. This apparatus is also equipped with HAAS Alert collision mitigation technology. This technology sends alerts to surrounding motorists notifying them of an emergency vehicle in route.
