Kayking the Hollyford and Pyke

Ollie, Cole, Blake and I embark on a 4 day trip starting at the Hollyford road end. The first day is spent kayaking down the Hollyford and across lake McKerrow before staying in Hukuri Hut. Day two we paddled out to Martins Bay before packing up the pack rafts and hiking to Big Bay. We then stayed in Big Bay DOC Hut. Day 3 we walked to the Pyke River, inflated our pack rafts and paddled down the Pyke, across Lake Wilmot and finished our day at the end of Lake Alabaster. Day 4 we spent 8 hours walking back to the Hollyford Road end, in the rain. It was an epic trip and I'm going to miss our laughs with Cole and Ollie!
