Welcome to RPED (Read Poems Every Day)! In today's video, I read three new(-to-me) poems and one familiar poem aloud and reflect on the experience of reading and hearing them. The poems in this video are: 1. Arna Bontemps's "A Black Man Talks of Reaping" [https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem...] 2. Sony Ton-Aime's "On the Day After the Bois Caïman Ceremony, César Vallejo Spoke" [https://poems.com/poem/on-the-day-aft...] 3. Ama Codjoe's "Their Pasts" [https://poets.org/poem/their-pasts] 4. Mary Oliver "The Summer Day" [https://poets.org/poem/summer-day] What do you think of these poems? What occurred to you as you read / listened to them? Please like, subscribe, comment, share, and join me for future videos!
