Diving Kwajalein Atoll- The Paran Maru

This video covers the Paran Maru wreck, which was sunk off the north end of Bikej Island on January 31, 1944 during Operation Flintlock. The Paran Maru is most commonly known to Kwajalein Atoll divers as the 'Palawan', which was the original name of the ship before it was captured by the Japanese in early 1942 and re-named. The Paran Maru has the distinction of being the only ship in the Kwajalein lagoon that was sunk twice.
