On a warm, sunny Sunday in mid-August with temperatures around 30°C (86°F), I took a peaceful stroll through the Botanical Garden on the outskirts of Leverkusen, Germany. The garden is beautifully maintained — from the perfectly groomed lawns and flowerbeds to the stunning Japanese Garden and its surrounding area. The level of care here clearly shows that this place is very likely funded by the Bayer corporation, which has its headquarters nearby. There weren’t many visitors, making it a truly calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for a slow walk and some nature shots.
