I CAME BACK HOME 🥹❤️ I travelled all the way from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape for a ceremony & Heritage Day after not being here for more than 10 years! 🙈 We spent 18+ hours on the road, but honestly, every minute was worth it. Being back in the Eastern Cape, surrounded by family and experiencing Heritage Day here was such a beautiful experience. I got to embrace my Xhosa roots, spend quality time with my family and just enjoy being home. The main reason for the trip was a very special family traditional ceremony, which took place around Heritage Day. We continued the family celebrations over the next few days, including slaughtering a lamb on the 25th and pork on the 26th, while spending time together, eating, laughing and enjoying each other's company. And then... back on the road to Cape Town at 6AM!
