Walking tour in an Elegant and historical city of Northern of Spain - Oviedo | 23 - 24 Aug 2025

Oviedo is the historic capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain. It’s known for its medieval old town, the site of the Gothic Oviedo Cathedral with its 9th-century Holy Chamber. The Cathedral of San Salvador is so beautiful. One interesting item in the Cathedral is The hydria, a venerated stone water jar that tradition identifies as one of the six stone jars used by Jesus during the miracle at the wedding at Cana. If you are in to Camino de Santiago, Primitivo route starts from this Cathedral. Beside of the Cathedral, you must visit Basilica of St. John the Real. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take a video using video camera hence I only provide slideshow based on photos taken there. If you are a steak lover, you must try the steak in La Cava Asustada.
