Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 Upper Deck Trip Report (Manchester to New York JFK)

Thanks for watching! Description- Airline: Virgin Atlantic (VS) Aircraft: Boeing 747-400 Aircraft Reg: G-VLIP "Hot Lips" Seat: 79K (Upper Deck) Route: MAN-JFK Flight Number: VS127 Flight Time : 6 Hours On this flight, I'm headed back to the US on my second 747 flight and managed to snag a seat in the upper deck! In the upper deck, every window seat has storage compartments for any bags or amenities you could store. It was good for storing my camera and portable charger. The overhead bins are much smaller so any large rollers including mine, were stored in large baggage lockers for the flight. The seat was very comfortable and the legroom available was better than the main cabin's. Snacks and drinks were put out on a table area above the stairs for passengers to take as they please. The crew were very kind and provided an excellent service onboard. They would regularly come around and check to make sure everyone was enjoying the flight or desired anything to drink (the perks of being in a smaller cabin than downstairs). Being able to fly in the upper deck of the 747 is truly an aviation lovers dream. The excitement and anticipation leading up to it made for an incredible experience once I stepped on board.
