FLEETS DAM!!!! BARNSSLEHHHH…!!!! One of the most famous angling based stomping grounds in the UK, and THE NORTH have got it💪🏼 That being said, many many many anglers travel here from around the country to fish it’s iconic matches, land big bags of Carp and just embrace this prolific arena. I fished here many many years ago when I was a full time match angler and back then those Carp were just being introduced. Now it’s Carp Soup but there’s still plenty of silvers to be had too. It’s open to day ticket, membership and has a really strong angling community surrounding it. One of the King Pin Fisheries when it comes to venue solidarity in angling in my opinion. Few safety signs could do with pinning up and a safety ring hanging around, but hey…. ..ITS FLEETS DAM!! I encourage any of you to give the place a visit and enjoy some Rod bending, elastic pulling, float dipping and waggler snatching action up here. Because I know I’m due a session. Fleets, well done. A stunning fishery with a magnanimous reputation. Even just walking around the place I can feel and see just why this place attracts anglers from far and wide👏🏼
