Hurricane Isaias began to whip up tropical storm-force winds along the Gulf Coast Friday afternoon as the powerful storm made a beeline for an evening landfall. Sustained tropical storm-force winds were being reported in Pensacola Bay, with reported gusts to 52 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile, Alabama.
