Today we drive to the small Hortobágy, a lesser-known area of 30,000 hectares, similar to the large Hortobágy, but without the fish ponds and therefore with fewer water birds. There are no paved roads, so the central part is not accessible in rainy weather. We make wonderful observations! Vandaag rijden we naar de kleine Hortobágy, een minder gekend gebied van 30.000 hectare, vergelijkbaar met de grote Hortobágy, maar dan zonder de visvijvers en dus met minder watervogels. Er zijn geen verharde wegen, waardoor het centrale deel niet toegankelijk is bij regenweer. We doen prachtige waarnemingen!
