In the digital age, effectively communicating an advocacy message has changed dramatically. The new reality is that the average person can amplify your message, and when they do, they can achieve scale and credibility that traditional advertising can't. Chris Adamkowski, Head of Government and Energy at Google Canada, believes that you can harness the power of individuals by providing them with something useful, winning the moments that matter, and leveraging their advocacy.
Chris Adamkowski is a business builder. He has spent the past ten years helping businesses improve their performance using a variety of different frameworks and evidence based models. Chris is presently the Head of Government and Energy at Google Canada. Specific to the Canadian Oil Sands, Chris brings an interesting philosophical and evidence based perspective on winning the social license to operate.
About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
