The Night I Met Daron Malakian from SYSTEM OF A DOWN

At the Toxicity 25th Anniversary Exhibition, celebrating System of a Down’s landmark 2001 album, SJC strikes up a conversation with a man the chat believes is none other than Daron Malakian, the band’s legendary guitarist and vocalist. The realization comes too late: could SJC really have spent time talking to a rock icon without recognizing him? The emotional aftermath follows him back through Hollywood, where the night takes a darker turn when a man experiencing homelessness throws a bottle at him. But the night is not over yet. The final chapter unfolds in Beverly Hills, bringing another unpredictable Los Angeles night to a close. The exhibition took place at BEYOND THE STREETS, 434 N La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, from October 13–18, 2026. It celebrated 25 years of Toxicity, featuring rare memorabilia, photographs, instruments and archival material from the band’s history. If you’ve been thinking about it… now’s the time—become a member.    / @sjcofficial   LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! COPYRIGHT NOTICE © 2026 SCUFFED JUSTIN CARREY ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
