168. Beginners Guide to Wheel Throwing a Large Bowl (using 10 kg/ 22 lbs og clay)

Today I am making a bog bowl. A very big bowl. And unlike the previous big bowls I have made, that where more shallow - like a platter, this one big bowl is going to have higher walls and be more round. To wheel throw something this big you do off course need a l lot of clay. And to manage all that clay can be a challenge. In this video I will show you an easy to way to center big clay balls - in this case 10 kg/ 22lbs og clay - or even more. Opening up and shaping a lot of clay is also a challenge, although not physically as hard. Learn the entire process - from wedging the clay to the final big bowl.
