A Tribute Mash Up to EMU Local Trains of Bengal || Kolkata Suburban Railways || Indian Railways Kolkata EMU train service has been resumed from this 11th day of November almost after 8 months. Due to beginning of Coronavirus infection in India, Indian Railways had postponed the train service all over India from 22nd March onwards for undetermined days. As an effect, suburban train service aka local & metro train service had also postponed in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai & Hyderabad. As an effect, most of the people, especially hawkers, people with less earnings etc. were becoming bakers slowly, especially in Kolkata & her outskirts & rural Bengal area. Some of them had to go to their office by hiring car, bus etc. with big amounts of money or the cars provided by office or personal cars or motorcycles. The service had been only resumed for the railway staffs only during Corona outbreak. One step ahead, Mumbai Suburban Railways had given permission for the staffs associated with important services with the railway staffs. Local trains are the lifelines & pillar of Indian Nation as well as Kolkata for the people, just like a Guardian. Inspite of restarting of Local train services in Mumbai & Metro service in Kolkata for the passengers, there is no sign of resumption of local train service in Bengal. After a long request, mailing letters & meetings, State Government & corresponding Eastern & South Eastern Railway zones has decided to resume the suburban train or local train service from this 11th November. But passengers have to follow COVID prevention guidelines strictly given by Ministry of Health, Government of India. We make a tribute video presentation of these local trains as they are the only trust to the common people for travelling. They are like another COVID warrior of India.
