"Applied mathematics: a first course": This course is designed for first-year undergraduates in Mathematics (those one year out from IBDP or A-Levels). It complements other first-year courses (typically, calculus, real analysis, linear algebra, and probability) and aims to foster creativity in deploying abstract mathematical results in applied settings. Results from other courses are used here as needed (often without rigorous justification - students should fill in those details themselves, to their own satisfaction). Students should consult the course notes as they watch the videos; the notes contain supplementary details, and examples.
