Right to Rehab - right to space

Rehabilitation is an essential part of hospital care – but patients need the right space, equipment and facilities to recover safely and regain their independence. In this film, stroke survivor Dave shares his experience of inpatient rehabilitation, alongside physiotherapists who explain why dedicated rehabilitation space matters for patients with complex needs. As hospitals across England are rebuilt and redesigned, there is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to make sure rehabilitation is designed in from the outset – not treated as an optional extra.
