THIS Horror Game Promised ZERO JUMPSCARES…

Apparently, horror games have gotten lazy. So today, we're playing The No Jumpscare Show, a weird little comedy-horror game that promises to do the impossible: scare me WITHOUT using cheap jumpscares. Honestly? I'm suspicious. In this game, paranormal activity is basically just a normal part of everyday life. Our protagonist, Illy, however, is apparently bored enough to walk into a shady haunted house run by a disembodied creature named Thingy the Thing. And Thingy has a deal for us. Survive the haunted house without getting scared and we'll walk away with $10,000. Sounds easy, right? Except Thingy REALLY doesn't want to pay us. The haunted house is specifically designed to scare us without relying on the usual horror-game tricks. No lazy monster popping out of a closet. No random screaming face appearing on the screen every five seconds. Instead, we're dealing with creepy environments, strange situations, fake-outs, psychological tension, unsettling rooms, and whatever other ridiculous nonsense Thingy can come up with. So today we're going to find out whether The No Jumpscare Show can actually scare me without using jumpscares... Or whether I'm about to spend the entire game confidently saying, "I'm not scared," while being absolutely terrified. This is a short, strange, funny, creepy indie horror game with a retro black-and-white visual style, dark humor, and a whole lot of suspicious paranormal nonsense. And if there really are NO JUMPSCARES...
