Nikola Jokić Doesn't Deserve This

Nikola Jokic was just ranked the best player in the world, and he lost in the first round to a Minnesota team missing Anthony Edwards, Donte DiVincenzo and Ayo Dosunmu. Here's how it happened. I went back through all six games of Nuggets vs Timberwolves to test the three explanations people give: Jokic had a bad series, the Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson injuries, or Minnesota guarding Jokic one-on-one with Rudy Gobert and daring Jamal Murray to beat them. Then I break down whether trading Watson and signing DeMar DeRozan actually fixed anything, and why the on/off numbers say Denver's season still comes down to Aaron Gordon. _____________________________________ Footage in this video is owned by the NBA and its partners.
