DEAFinitely Readers Book Club discussed “El Deafo” by CeCe Bell. It is written by a Deaf author and is part of DEAFinitely Readers Book Challenge covering graphic novel/manga. DEAFinitely Readers Book Club chats is hosted by K.T. James (Keri) and Desiree. Keri is hard-of-hearing and is simcomming. Simcomming is simultaneous communications (signing and speaking). It is not ASL, but rather PSE. Desiree is deaf and is voice-off signing. Keri will be voice interpreting for Desiree. This video has both American Sign Language and spoken English.
