Highway 9 Railroad Crossing Walk Tour, Santa Cruz CA

May 9, 2026 Railroad crossing walk around look tour of the Hwy 9 railroad crossing (CA SR 9) up in the Redwood Forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains on the Santa Cruz Big Trees & Pacific Railroad beach train line. One signal here is still in its original form besides its bell being replaced which is the eastern signal where I started at. The western signal is a knock down prone signal so it's been mostly modernized due to being knocked down several times unfortunately. I also showed the limited space and cliff on the eastern side which is why it'll be a little hard to film from that side.
