In the story of Jonah, we see that God is intentional with both our timing and our placement. Jonah tried to run from God’s assignment, but God used every circumstance to bring him back toward His purpose. May we remember these truths as we hear God’s Word: ● God appoints our time in history. Jonah was called to Nineveh for a specific moment and purpose. In the same way, God has placed us in this generation and season for a reason. ● God sets the boundaries of our lives. Jonah’s boundaries were not meant to imprison him, but to redirect him toward God. Sometimes what we see as limitations are actually God’s way of positioning us. God sets timelines and boundaries not to imprison us, but to position us towards Him. The very place we resent might be the place God wants us to be in. May we trust His timing, embrace His placement, and follow where He leads. Trust His timeline. Respect His boundaries. Follow His purpose.
