Meet the Soundblast Colossus | Pandora Species Highlight | Pandora Through a Biologist's Eyes

The Soundblast Colossus is one of the largest herbivores roaming Pandora's Upper Plains — and it comes with a rather unusual way of defending itself. In this Species Highlight, we take a closer look at the biology of the Soundblast Colossus, its appearance, behaviour and ecology, as well as its famous soundblast defense. How does an animal this large protect itself, and what exactly is happening when it unleashes that powerful blast? As always, we'll take what we see in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and compare it with biology and anatomy from the real world.
