Connemara Pony 4-In-Hand | Combined Driving

You can learn a lot about teamwork and team roles when you spend time with horses as they work together. I had a wonderful opportunity to ride along for a few minutes in the sporting break vehicle (carriage) with Phil and Chris Knox as they returned to the stable area at the Kentucky Horse Park after Phil had driven their 4-in-hand of Connemara ponies in the cones phase of the Kentucky Classic, FEI Pony 4-in-Hand class. Hear Chris introduce the ponies and describe their variety of jobs during life on Knox Farm in Chesterfield, Idaho. (Thank you Chris, Phil and Ginny!)
