Gilson Concrete Air Meter with Digital Gauge Cannister Method Calibration (HM-30D) https://www.globalgilson.com/gilson-t... These instructions are intended to supplement procedures detailed in ASTM C231 or AASHTO T 152. The meter should be calibrated every three months. The values and dates of each calibration should be recorded and kept with the meter. Press and hold the Power button until the gauge turns on. Once the gauge display illuminates, ensure that the petcocks are in the open position and the air bleeder valve cap is loose to release any pressure in the system. Fill the measuring bowl completely with room temperature water. Thread the short piece of straight tubing provided into the threaded petcock opening on the underside of the cover. Clamp the cover on the measuring bowl with the tube ex tending down into the water. Using the syringe provided, add water to the measuring bowl, through both petcocks until all air is expelled from the opposite petcock. CALIBRATION SET UP: Long press and release the MENU button. The display will read ABORT. Long press and release the ZERO button to tare the pressure reading. The display will read 0.0. Long press and release MENU button. The display will read CALIB. Press ENTER three times to begin calibration. Tighten the air bleeder valve cap and pump up the air pressure to just beyond the predetermined pressure of 14.5psi ±0.05psi. Allow gauge to stabilize and press ENTER. If gauge displays LOW or HIGH, make appropriate adjustments and press ENTER. The gauge will display OK if pressure is 14.5psi ±0.05psi. Close both petcocks. Note: A reading of NOT STABLE indicates a potential leak in the system, which must be addressed before continuing. When prompted by the gauge, hold down the needle valve lever and press ENTER. The gauge will perform a 10-second countdown, then notify to release the lever. The equilibrium pressure will be shown on the gauge. (Note: this is not the air content) The gauge will display PURGE ADD ONE CAN THEN PRESS ENTER. Carefully, open one of the petcock valves while covering it with your hand to slowly relieve the pressure in the measuring bowl. Remove the lid and add the calibration vessel to the water in the measuring bowl. Be sure to keep it vertical while lowering it. There should be no water in the calibration vessel when it is added to the measuring bowl. Add water to the measuring bowl until full, secure the lid, and add water through both petcocks until all air is expelled through the opposite petcock. With both petcocks open, tighten the air bleeder valve cap and pump up the air pressure to just beyond the predetermined pressure of 14.5psi. Allow the display to stabilize, then add or release air as necessary. When the initial pressure reading is within ±0.05psi, press EN TER and the gauge will display OK. Gauge will display HIGH or LOW if reading is above or below ±0.05psi. Adjust pressure as necessary, then press ENTER. Once gauge displays OK, close both petcocks. When prompted by the gauge, hold down the needle valve lever and press ENTER. The gauge will perform a 10-second countdown, then notify to release the lever. The equilibrium pressure will be shown on the gauge. (Note: this is not the air content) Press ENTER to save calibration or hold MENU to abort and not save the calibration. The gauge will turn off automatically after saving. concrete air meter volume / used concrete air meter / concrete air meter test / white concrete air meter / concrete air meter parts / concrete air meter for sale / concrete air meter / concrete air meter volume / used concrete air meter / concrete air meter test / white concrete air meter / concrete air meter parts / how to use a concrete air meter / how much is 3 meters of concrete / how to measure air in concrete / how much is concrete per meter / how much is concrete per meter For more information got to https://www.globalgilson.com/gilson-t...
