Status Set and Role Set in Sociology (Five Minute Sociology #7)

Hello, everyone! Today I'll explain Robert Merton's Status Set and Irving Goffman's Role Set. I will give definitions of each and demonstrate how they are linked together. I will also give examples of my own status set and some examples of the role set that it creates. I will also explain why status set and role set are important sociological ideas for your class work.
