Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to beat Krauser (Ruin + Final Fight) Boss Tutorial

Disclaimer: This footage is recorded on standard difficulty but should still apply to the higher difficulties as well. I breakdown & demonstrate how to approach the fight with Krauser throughout the ruin ambushes and the final fight with him. This time with the final fight no ladder cheese was used :) I did NOT use the OP things like RPG, bonus weapons/accessory etc to better showcase the boss. No easy method to beat Krauser this time. You need to get good. I used pistol & knife only to best showcase Krauser fights. (updated as of 26 May 2023) I would recommend watching my Krauser 1st encounter CQC fight. Much of what is mentioned in the video applies to the fight when Krauser comes at you with the knife. 1st part of the ruin fight. Avoid his firearm & go to cover to cover for safety. You can shoot back when he misses his shots. Once Krauser jumps down he goes into his close quarters mode. You need to be familiar with the knife parries. Parry his knife attacks. Avoid his grab by getting close and stabbing him. If you get hit by the grab, its not a big deal, deals abit damage to you. When Krauser jumps up and away he will use his bow/gun. Immediately pull out your gun and shoot him to cause him to fall down and melee him and pump him full of lead. You also take cover & flashbang him. Throughout the ruin watchout for traps & ambushes. (Newly added 26 May 2023) Tips against Mutated Krauser: He always start off with his jumping attack, you can just evade it. Making him predictable allowing you to set-up your opener for him. Every other sword swing besides Stinger(charge attack) can be perfect parried & guarantees a stagger. The stinger attack will be deflected but doesnt grant a stagger. Watch out if you miss a parry and get unlucky. Krauser has a 3 hit combo - Upper Cut, back Swing into a grab When Krauser guards with his big hand (right arm), I recommend backing away and climbing the ladder to force him to jump up thus lower his guard When Krauser guards he also have a higher chance of doing a grab/back hand attack which cannot be parried Generally keep distance against Krauser so you have some time to react to his attacks Avoid being near ledges, you can be knocked off If you get grabbed, break free using your knife to minimalize damage & same for recovering from a ledge Don't be a low health as you instantly die if you get grabbed or ledged same with the QTE struggle before he mutates Shooting his head causes more chances to stagger him Timestamps: 0:00 Explaining how to approach the fight 3:40 Fight Demo 5:19 Going Through the ruin ambushes 8:00 2nd fight with Krauser 9:16 Going through the ruin again 10:19 Mutated Krauser Breakdown 12:30 Final Fight Demo I gotten permission from the creator of this parry guide.
