Lit'TechX Season 1 was held in Layyah where 25 artists from South Punjab showcased their talent. Lit'TechX promotes local talent and delivers the highly curated content through musical performances and spoken word recitals to inculcate tolerance and empathy in community. We mobilized around 300 gender balanced audience in our inaugural ceremony which lasted six hours. Afkar Alvi from Bhakkar, on popular request from crowd recited 'Murshid'. He writes on contemporary topics and is very critical of the everyday ideologies affecting lives of a common person in Pakistan. Afkar's poetry is about peace and specifically, it revolves around demolishing century old problematic traditions causing chaos in community.
