In this new WatchAdvisor video, filmed in 4K, we take a detailed hands-on look at three exceptional platinum creations from Glashütte Original: the PanoMaticLunar, the PanoLunarInverse and the PanoMaticCalendar. Together, they show just how far the unmistakable asymmetric Pano design language can be taken. The PanoMaticLunar Anniversary Edition combines a 40 mm platinum case with a deep-blue aventurine dial that turns the entire watch into a miniature night sky. Limited to 180 pieces, it features Glashütte Original’s signature Panorama Date and moon-phase display, while the automatic manufacture Calibre 92-14 delivers an impressive 100-hour power reserve. The PanoLunarInverse takes an entirely different approach. Housed in a 42 mm platinum case and limited to 200 pieces, it brings the architecture of the movement to the dial side, placing the mechanics themselves centre stage. Its black-rhodium-plated and guilloché movement components, Duplex swan-neck fine adjustment and dramatic moon-phase display make this perhaps the most technically theatrical watch of the trio. It is powered by the automatic manufacture Calibre 91-04. And then there is the PanoMaticCalendar: the most functionally complex of the three. Its 42 mm platinum case surrounds a skeletonised deep-blue dial with Panorama Date, moon phase and an annual calendar with retrograde month display. The automatic Calibre 92-11 offers 100 hours of power reserve, and the annual calendar requires manual correction only once a year, on March 1.
