Borj Cédria to El Haouaria, Tunisia | Scenic Autumn Drive Through Cap Bon in 4K

Enjoy a scenic autumn drive from the A1 highway exit for Borj Cédria and Soliman to El Haouaria, through the forests, towns, villages, and countryside of Cap Bon, Tunisia. The video opens with a short preview of the drive. The full drive begins at 00:00:58, as we take the A1 highway exit for Soliman in light rain, with beautiful views of the wooded hills around Boukornine National Park. We continue through Borj Cédria and Soliman toward the C26 road to El Haouaria in Nabeul Governorate. Along the way, Aleppo pines, eucalyptus trees—known locally in Tunisia as “kaltous”—and stretches of forest frame the road, opening onto countryside and glimpses of everyday life in small towns and villages. Maps also show small hotels and guesthouses around parts of the route. Our approach to the A1 exit is from the Sousse and Sfax direction. After joining the road toward Soliman and El Haouaria, this video also gives visitors coming from Tunis, Bizerte, or elsewhere a preview of what they will see if they follow the same route. The starting area is marked on maps as “Péage Borj Cédria.” At the time of filming, the toll facilities there were still unfinished. The route passes through or alongside Borj Cédria, Dhari, Soliman, El Marja, Bir Mroua, Takelsa, Sidi Aissa, El Rtiba, Zougag, Ennachaa, Bir Ejedey, Zaouiet El Mgaiez, Dar Chichou Forest, Beni Khira, Ghormane, Menzel Salem, and Farjoun, before reaching El Haouaria. It was a beautiful road to explore on an autumn day. We hope to return in spring to see these landscapes when the countryside is greener and in bloom.
