Filmed in October 2025 The longest flight in the U.S. has long been at the top of my list of flights to try out, with Hawaiian being the sole operator of this service. However, with the recent acquisition of Hawaiian by Alaska Airlines, Alaska announced that it will not be continuing this service, so I knew I had to try it out before it was too late. Now this service had its final flight on November 19, 2025; however, that was operating under Alaska’s callsign. I had the privilege of flying on October 28, 2025, making it the last time this route was flown under the HA callsign, which was really so special! You could tell how much the crew loves their airline, and I really hope Alaska takes a page out of Hawaiian’s book and becomes a better airline instead of tarnishing the name of a once-loved airline, as has been the result of some airline acquisitions in the past. All that being said, I had an amazing time with Hawaiian Airlines in their final hours, and this long-haul flight onboard the mighty A330 will definitely live on in my memories!
