The album follows a married individual born in the late 19th/early 20th century, as they grapple with Alzheimer’s Disease and its encroachment on the mind. FAQs are located at the bottom of the description. Stage 1 The grand years slowly start to draw to an end as plaque buildup begins. Confusion is almost non-existent - drifting thoughts are mistaken as daydreams as fond recollections of years past flow through the mind. The patient is as peace - having lived a fulfilled life full of wonderful experiences. Later on, more recognizable indicators begin to show. They begin with forgetting to lock the door, or neglecting a crucial part of your daily routine. FAQs Q: Where's Stage 0? A: Stage 0 has been nixed entirely owing to its nature of almost nonexistent distortion for almost an hour - ignoring the fact that Stage 0 Alzheimer's does not exist, and represents a lack of having Alzheimer's. However, several leitmotifs from Stage 0 have made it in here to establish them - we are not neglecting that the album itself exists. Q: You say this uses mainly different covers. A1 and A7 use samples from the original. Why? A: A1's cover isn't very recognizable in Stage 4 to begin with (the only place it appears). A7's sample was good as is and only required minor adjustments. This is not to set a precedent going forward - these were niche cases where the sound itself outweighed the gimmick and will be used as sparingly as possible throughout this project.
