TORRENTIAL RAIN IN JAKARTA AIRPORT: This was probably one of the most scary departures I have experienced in a flight. We were on a parking position in the taxiway for 10-15 minutes and the runway was closed for takeoff and landing. All arriving flights to Jakarta were on a holding patterns until the thunderstorm has completely stopped. 🙏 Thankfully, we took off from Jakarta by the time the storm has stopped with a 45 minute delay.
