Yoshimitsu is a ninja and the leader of the Manji Clan, a group of Robin Hood-like warriors who steal from those who profit from dishonest activities and redistribute their wealth to the poor. He wields the possessed Cursed Blade Yoshimitsu, a demon-slaying weapon that thirsts for blood and drives its wielder to satisfy its hunger by cutting down wicked people. After the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, Yoshimitsu returned to Doctor Bosconovitch. The doctor had finally recovered, thanks to Yoshimitsu's efforts to obtain Ogre's blood. For a while, everything seemed peaceful. But one day, Bosconovitch showed Yoshimitsu something completely different from anything he had ever seen before. Inside the laboratory stood a strange armored machine. It was a tank. Bosconovitch explained that the machine had been developed as part of a secret military project. Its armor was incredibly strong, its cannon could destroy almost anything, and its battlefield mobility made it unlike any weapon Yoshimitsu had ever encountered. Yoshimitsu stared at the tank. Then he looked at his cursed sword. Then back at the tank. The doctor smiled. "Perhaps you should try fighting with this." Yoshimitsu climbed inside. The moment he took control of the machine, something unexpected happened. The samurai realized that the tank could move like an enormous mechanical warrior. Its cannon became his new weapon. Its armor became his new defense. And the battlefield became his new tournament arena. And Yoshimitsu continued fighting. Battle after battle. Tank after tank. Victory after victory. The legendary ninja had become a tank commander. His enemies feared his blade.
