Nevada Road trip (3 of 4) - Riding a BSA Gold Star

Did someone say Road Trip! Nevada Road trip - BSA Goldstar Riding a BSA Gold Star has been on my bucket list for decades. I remember it like it was yesterday. During a ride, I passed a friend in England who was riding a BSA Gold Star. I was on my 1954 AJS 16MS 350. We stopped in a fire station near Pickering, North Yorkshire to say hello and he offered me a ride on his Goldie. I politely declined... and regretted it ever since! It was an absolute thrill to ride the Gold Star. It was a very tough bike to handle and ride but an amazing experience that I will never forget. MANY thanks to Sam for his kindness in letting me ride his stunning bike! Sam has ridden 11,000 miles on this bike!
