🏏 Ropley CC vs Trojans CC – Match Highlights This week we took on Trojans CC at the picturesque Chawton Cricket Ground; a classic Hampshire village setting, standing in as our home ground while our outfield recovers. (Fingers crossed we’re back at home in the next couple of weeks!) It was a game full of good humour, boundaries (lots of them – especially to one side!), and some standout individual moments… 🔥 A big welcome to De Wet “The Jet”, making his Ropley debut — he smashed 62 runs, bowled 9 overs, and was the high scorer of the innings. What a start! 😂 Our number 11, Ed, tripled his career best and nearly took out Merv the scorer with a rocket straight into the scorers’ box. A few tense exchanges added some spice, and the game got very tight in the final few overs.
