The Opening Day Nobody Was Ready For

Joey tells the story of the opening nobody was quite prepared for, including the crowds that did not show up the way anyone expected, and the brother who stepped back in to finish what Walt started. It builds to Roy Disney standing in the Magic Kingdom, the dedication he gave, and the plaque that still tells you exactly who made the place possible. Then Brock shifts to The Method, with the planning decisions that shape the rest of your trip and the ones families most often get backwards.
