Florida Woman Gets Life for Killing Retired Couple

Vickie Lynn Williams avoided the death penalty and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murders of the retired elderly couple Darryl and Sharon Getman in Florida. In December 2022, authorities stated that Williams had asked to charge her phone and use their shower before she fatally stabbed them in their retirement community home. She then stole their car and items that they owned.
