The Sepha PakScan is a configurable, non-destructive seal integrity and leak detection system developed to verify the integrity of sealed, non-porous flexible and semi-rigid packaging. More info: https://sepha.com/products/leak-testi... With 1-up, 2-up, 3-up and 6-up test layouts, the PakScan allows manufacturers to test different packaging formats and sizes using one machine. Up to six packs of the same format can be tested in a single cycle, with an individual pass/fail result for every active pack position. Individual load cells can be activated or deactivated to match the required test configuration, including partial layouts such as testing five packs in a 6-up layout. Using deterministic Force Decay technology, the PakScan detects pinholes, weak seals, channel leaks and gross defects without destroying packs that pass. Its deeper vacuum capability also supports low-headspace applications. Suitable formats include pouches, sachets, stick packs, pillow packs, doy packs, laminate pouches, transdermal patch packs and semi-rigid trays or cups with non-porous lidding. Additional features include a compact footprint, front-loading drawer, touchscreen operation and secure storage of test, recipe and batch data.
