I LOST 1800€ | My first Artist Alley Experience

My first Artist Alley didn't exactly go as planned… From preparing my booth and creating fantasy art merchandise to battling self-doubt, overwhelm, and unexpected challenges — here's my honest experience of selling my art at a convention for the very first time. In this Artist Alley vlog, I share my booth setup, preparation struggles, first sales, actual costs and revenue, and what I learned as a neurodivergent fantasy artist bringing my fantasy world Ananthara into the real world. If you're preparing for your first Artist Alley, thinking about selling your art at conventions, or building your own creative universe, I hope this behind-the-scenes experience makes you feel a little less alone. ______________________________________________ ✍️Read the Full Blog: https://www.worldofananthara.com/blog... 📚The Art of Photobashing (DIGITAL VER.): https://www.worldofananthara.com/shop... 🎨Create your Character in Ananthara: https://www.worldofananthara.com/quiz ______________________________________________ Timestamps 00:00 Intro 00:40 About 03:10 Preparation Stress, Self-Doubt and Overwhelm 07:15 My Booth Concept, Character Quiz and Lore Cards 11:02 Redesigning My Artist Alley Booth 12:55 The Convention Begins: My First Day 13:54 My First Sale and the Reality of the Event 15:45 Self-Doubt, Real Conversations and Small Wins 18:03 Costs and Revenue of My First Artist Alley 18:41 Lessons Learned and What I Would Do Differently 20:24 Outro ______________________________________________ 🔔Get your Loot, Traveler! ✍️ Read the first Pages of my Fantasy Novel RAW in GER & ENG https://www.worldofananthara.com/#new... 📚 Start Here: https://worldofananthara.com 💌Join the Snail Mail Club Adventure (DE & ENG) https://www.worldofananthara.com/mail... ✍️Read my Blog Read my Blog: https://www.worldofananthara.com/blog... ______________________________________________ 🔔 Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss any updates! 😊 📱 My social media channels ✨ 🌿 Instagram:   / itsmewyld   🌿 TikTok:   / itsmewyld_   🌿 Pinterest:   / itsmewyld   🌿 2nd channel:    / @worldofananthara   ______________________________________________ 🎥 My Creator Gear: 📸 Camera: https://amzn.eu/d/ibsSaEU 🎙️ Microphone: https://amzn.eu/d/3DQRuQZ 💡 Lighting: https://amzn.eu/d/8biKKek 📱 Tripod: https://amzn.eu/d/8WA64fP 🤳 Phone Holder: https://amzn.eu/d/bPTtIgX ______________________________________________ 🛠️ My Tools & Software: 🎥 Video Editing: Premiere Pro 🎨 Design: Canva Pro 📷 Photo Editing: Photoshop & Lightroom Classic ______________________________________________ 📬 Contact: info@wyldheartstudio.com 📄 Impressum: www.worldofananthara.com/impressum #artistalley #artistalleysetup #fantasyartist #artisttips #neurodivergentartist
