23" Keeper Fluke! Best Catch of the Season at Rye Beach

I landed my best fluke of the season at Rye Beach! Watch as I battle changing winds and shift gears to land a quality 23-inch keeper fluke while fishing the western Long Island Sound from the Salty Slayer (my Native Slayer Propel Max 12.5 fishing kayak). Overall, this late-summer afternoon kayak fishing trip was a success! I landed a 17.5-inch short, a 19-inch "barely" short (NY minimum is 19.5 inches as of August 2nd), and that impressive 23-inch keeper--plus a surprise short black sea bass.
