20,000 Judgments later: Justice Subodhkumar G. Shah Breaks His Silence

Today, we have with us an eminent jurist whose contribution to the Indian judiciary extends far beyond the courtroom. Justice Subodhkumar Gunvantlal Shah served as a Judge of the High Court of Gujarat after nearly sixteen years as a judicial officer and over fifteen years at the Bar, where he practised across civil, criminal, constitutional, revenue and consumer matters. He is widely recognised as one of the pioneers of judicial computerisation in India, having played a key role in the e-Courts Project, the computerisation of courts across the country, and serving on the Supreme Court's E-Committee. His work spans judicial administration, cyber law, artificial intelligence, forensic science, ADR, and court management. Even after retirement, he continues to educate judicial aspirants, lecture across India, and contribute to AI-driven judicial reforms internationally.
