An Invitation to Join Us on the Day of Atonement

DAY OF ATONEMENT: I felt the Lord encourage me to invite everyone whose hearts were willing to set aside the 21st of September as a day of fasting, confession, repentance, and returning to the Lord with our whole hearts. To confess and repent before the Lord not just for our own sins, but also, as Daniel did, for the sins of the church and the sins of our nations. The need for repentance is very great, but equally great are the promises of the Lord to those who would humble themselves and repent! I'm specifically calling those worshippers, saints, and leaders whose hearts have been grieved over the state of the church and the state of worship, to seek the Lord with prayer and fasting and to obey His words-acknowledging the heights from which we have fallen-and to be earnest in our repentance. Me and my family will be gathering the night of the 21st with a small group of friends, families, pastors, and worship leaders where | live in Nashville Tennessee, to do this very thing. I will be posting something every day that the Lord has been speaking to me about repentance through the 21st. When I was praying about this I saw families gathering together in homes, youth groups, friend groups, business leaders, and so on... groups of all kinds and sizes (some may only be 2 or 3), gathering together across the earth to humble themselves before the Lord, to pray, to seek His face, and to commit to turn from any wicked way. If you would like to help lead one of these groups we will be following up with a resource that includes a simple format and key scriptures to help you facilitate this. May God be honored and glorified amongst His people as we do this. Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. 🙏🏼
