New Jersey spends more per mile on its roads than any state in America, and somehow we still got ranked dead last in urban traffic congestion. So I counted down the ten roads that break every Jersey driver, the ones you swear you’re done with forever and then you’re back on at 7:50 the next morning, eating a Taylor ham egg and cheese off your lap.
The list covers Route 17 in Paramus, Route 46 through Clifton and Totowa, I-78 from Springfield to the Holland Tunnel, Route 1 through Edison and Woodbridge, the Lincoln Tunnel approach and the Helix, the worst stretches of the Garden State Parkway, I-287 through Morris County, I-80 through Paterson and Wharton, Route 9 through Lakewood and Old Bridge, and the undefeated champion, Route 22 through Union and Springfield.
Drop the road that ruins your life in the comments and tell me your exit.
