My Poor Dog Cody is Gone

The plaintiff was driving home from work on Christmas Eve when the defendant’s dog ran into the street. The plaintiff’s car hit the dog and it died on impact. The plaintiff says his car got damaged from when he hit the dog, so he’s suing for bumper damage and rental fees. The defendant argues the plaintiff already collected money from insurance. She’s countersuing for the cost of her purebred dog, harassment, and pain and suffering. Case #24-049
