Konark Sun temple is situated in the state of Odisha district Puri located at the seashore of Bay of Bengal. Konark Sun Temple is built in 12th century by King Jai Singh Dev first,  they took 12 years to complete building this Konark Sun Temple. It is believe that in this temple inside the Viman hall which we call Garba Gruha, there was kept Lord (Surya) Ashtadhatu idol, you believe or not, the idea was designed and situated in the air.
