Columbus Ohio Rail Action On The Southside, CSX and I & O

#csx #csxtransportation #columbusohio CSX and the Indiana & Ohio railroad run trains through the southside neighborhood of German Villages brewery district. Once upon a time the rail traffic was much more interesting. There was a small rail yard here serving the Scioto peninsula industrial businesses. Now those businesses are gone replace by a nature area and park. Two of the tracks nearest my filming location are the old West Virginia Secondary which leads from LM Cabin in Columbus to the Ohio River at Gallipolis, Ohio/ Point Pleasant, West Virginia near the old former Silver Bridge that fell into the river back in December 1967.
