Choro Romagnolo by Simone Zanchini | NO CAGE CD Launch | Live Concerts PIF Castelfidardo 2026

Simone Zanchini performs his compositions Choro Romagnolo from his new album NO CAGE live at the Premio Internazionale della Fisarmonica (PIF) Castelfidardo 2026. One of the most interesting and innovative accordionists on the international scene, Simone Zanchini's research moves through the boundaries of contemporary music, acoustics and electronics, sound experimentation, and cultivated contamination without forgetting tradition, thus resulting in a very personal approach to improvisation. He graduated with honours in classical accordion at the "G. Rossini" Conservatory of Pesaro, under Maestro Sergio Scappini. An eclectic instrumentalist, he has intense concert activities with groups of different musical extractions (improvisation, contemporary music, jazz, and classical). He has played in major festivals and shows in Italy and in the most important international festivals (China, France, Austria, Germany, England, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Spain, Norway, Russia, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, Venezuela, USA, and Japan). Simone is also the artistic director of Jazz Accordion Festival (JAF). Held since 2016, JAF is an festival created to appreciate the accordion to explore the accordion’s role in jazz and contemporary music. It brings together leading international performers and emerging artists, showcasing innovative projects and expanding the instrument’s artistic boundaries. The festival is organised by the Comune di Castelfidardo and Pro Loco Castelfidardo. 00:00 Introduction 02:10 Choro Romagnolo 04:52 Looping https://www.simonezanchini.com/    / @simonezanchinicanale2   https://arspoletium.com/catalogo/cd-m...
