Route 66 Road Trip Day 23: Las Vegas to Santa Fe

We drove about 70 miles today from Las Vegas to Santa Fe in New Mexico stopping at Pecos National Historic Park along the way. We bought two ponchos at the visitor center because we really liked their design. They came in handy on this rainy day. After arriving to Santa Fe, we had an early dinner at the bar of the historic La Fonda Hotel. We had cheeseburgers with sweet potato fries and they were good. We quickly stopped at Jackalope Mercado next to our motel to snap a picture with the giant rabbit before we checked into our room. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and watching our YouTube videos from this trip on the big TV.
